National Industry Summit – 28th and 29th June 2022
The National Industry Summit was previously scheduled to be held 1 and 2 March. Due to the extended Coronavirus infectious peak period (particularly along the Eastern board), the Summit is being rescheduled for 28th and 29th June. We anticipate that this coincide with the start of the 47th Parliament of Australia.
The Summit will be a 2 day program. There are 3 areas that are of high impact across the entire operational and supply chain of the bus industry in Australia. The Summit will commence with a half-day on Tuesday 1 March to address the areas of accessible transport, heavy vehicle law and zero emission technology and transition. Day 2 of the summit will see dedicated seminars and workshops in the areas of industrial relations for operators and technical issues (current and emerging) for suppliers. The BIC will also host an industry dinner on the night of day 1.
